Event Details

  • What do you think about GP commissioning?
  • Will you be affected by the closure of your PCT?
  • What do you think about Health Watch?

The NHS is set to face what many people are calling the most radical changes since its conception. You have valuable experience of what is going on at the grassroots level and it is vital that your views are heard.

We have been asked by the Department of Health to find out what you think about the NHS White Paper, Equity and Excellence: liberating the NHS. Come along and let us know how you think the proposed changes will impact on your work and ultimately the people that you represent.

This is a learning and consultation event, with briefings provided on all areas of the consultation, open discussions and workshops. It is specifically for children, young people and family voluntary sector organisations*.

The feedback from the event will go directly back to the Department of Health to be considered during this crucial period of transition for the NHS. We hope that a representative of the DH will be present on the day; details will be confirmed at a later date.

*This includes voluntary and community organisations, charities and social enterprises. Others are welcome to attend but these organisations will be given priority.
